We the RecruitNet team are always on call to help you find your perfect job and are staffed by highly experienced and professional nursing recruitment consultants.  We are now seeking   a CSSD Technician -  Central Sterile Services Technician   for a private hospital located in Dublin, Ireland.                 Responsibilities All departmental equipment, including autoclaves trolleys, and storage shelves, should be cleaned to the necessary standard. Take used medical equipment out of user areas and transport it. Examine and operate the test equipment, noting any anomalies or malfunctions. Put gadgets for the theatre, wards, and departments together and bundle them. As per the applicable protocols, sterilize and distribute medical devices. Provide end users with processed devices on time. Maintain supply shelves stocked and help with requisitioning and stock monitoring. When applicable, keep records according to departmental guidelines. Respect health and safety laws and make sure that safe work procedures are followed.  Put quality standards into practice to guarantee that a high-quality service is always given. Requirements National Certificate in Science (Sterile Services Technology)/ Leaving Certificate and be prepared to study for a Certificate in Science. FQ Level 6 in Decontamination of Reusable Invasive Medical Devices. DIT CPD in medical device decontamination.
