Cyber Security Consultant

Job Description: We are seeking a Cyber Security Consultant. You will be reporting to the Technology Security Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing Cyber Security expertise across multiple technology projects. From conceptualization to implementation, your insights will ensure that our systems maintain the highest security standards in line with industry best practices, particularly within mobile network environments. Key Responsibilities: Define security requirements and offer guidance throughout project phases. Facilitate security testing during implementation. Conduct security operational readiness assessments prior to deployment. Identify and propose solutions for mitigating cyber security risks. Assist in optimizing operational security toolsets. Foster strong relationships with internal teams, stakeholders, and partners. Support incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning. Contribute to security reporting, roadmap planning, and resource allocation. Conduct research on emerging security threats and incidents. Stay abreast of industry standards and maintain technical expertise relevant to the role. Preferred Skills and Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in information security within a technology organization. Background in security consulting, architecture/design, or professional services is desirable. Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels. Ability to thrive under pressure, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and make informed decisions. Proficiency in threat response and incident handling. Familiarity with cyber security standards and frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, SANS, and OWASP. Technical knowledge of large-scale information systems and network technologies. Experience in mobile network technologies is advantageous. Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities. Understanding of business continuity best practices and data protection governance. Desirable Certifications: ISO-27001 Certified Implementer and/or Auditor ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) CompTIA Security+ ISACA Certified in Risk and Information Control (CRISC) ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Offensive Security Certified Penetration Tester (OSCP)
