Join our teamDruck is a global technology company that designs, develops and manufactures the highest quality, most accurate and reliable customized pressure sensing devices and instruments, software to provide innovative products, services and solutions to our customers.Partner with the bestAs a Lead Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and driving the strategy for assigned commodities across multiple sites to meet cost, cash, fulfilment, quality and inventory objectives, with a high focus on new product introductions.As a Lead Sourcing/Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for:Leading Sourcing activities for New product introduction, driving supplier strategy for materials, working closely with technology, GSC, commodity and Project management teams to identify and enable most effective suppliers to meet quality, lead time, inventory and margin expectationsDriving sole source mitigation activities through the new product introduction process to mitigate supply risksSupporting Purchasing team with handover of materials and suppliers when new products are launched and into mainstream productionMeeting cost out targets via supplier negotiations, alternate supplier development and/or shifting to best cost country suppliers for assigned commodities; develop strategic relationships with global suppliers and commodity teamsSupporting business objectives such as carbon reduction, supplier diversity and cash improvementsFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have Min 3 years of sourcing/materials experienceHave strong negotiation and contract management skills, with excellent prioritisation and organizational skillsMember or working towards membership of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply or APICSHave strong customer focus and desire for first time issue resolutionHave experience using SAP or similar ERP and working knowledge of MS office systemsWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
