ALONE support older people to age at home. We provide direct, frontline services to people aged 60 and over, through support coordination, support and befriending, housing with support, and the application of assistive technology. We have a network of staff and more than 3,000 volunteers across the country We have been awarded Quality Marks from Volunteer Ireland, the ISO, the Charities Regulator and the Housing Regulatory Standard.We are currently recruiting for a Regional Head of Services. This position will be based in our Head office in Dublin 8, reporting to our National Head of Services.This is a wonderful and exciting opportunity to join one of the most important charities in Ireland in a period when the need for our services has never been greater. By participating, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to positively influence the lives of many older people in Ireland.To lead, manage and safely deliver a suite of integrated customer centric services to older people in line with ALONE’s strategic aims and objectives.Responsibilities:Live and promote the ALONE values.Safely deliver best in class integrated system of service to older people, by delivering leading quality metrics, 100% on-time delivery, and year on year productivity. improvements to ensure efficient management of unit costs while ensuring that these are clearly communicated, measured, and achieved at all levels.Working closely with the HR to lead, champion and further enhance the ALONE People strategy.Ensure compliance with all industry regulations, legislative guidelines, ALONE processes, and procedures and take appropriate action when necessary.Develop and enhance our customer centric service delivery model which is totally aligned to the HSE service footprint thus delivering the highest quality of service to older people in a timely fashion.Professionally manage all stakeholders and represent ALONE as a Leader at key Regional and National events connected to the Ageing sector in Ireland.Champion the progressive introduction of new services, business opportunities, innovations, and new technologies.Perform tasks as assigned by the National Head of Service.Essential skills & experience:Proven experience at a management level in a national complex service organisation.Ability to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, discretion, and respect.High-level communication skills both written and oral.Minimum of 3-year employee management experience, including support and performance management of individuals and people managers.Excellent communication skills, with experience in presenting information to a variety of stakeholders (internally and externally),The ability to network and negotiate effectively with individuals and groups, both internally and externally.Have experience managing and achieving targets in service delivery.Commitment to continuous improvement and experience or understanding of Quality Management Systems.A track record of excellent stakeholder managementProficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for document creation, data analysis, and communication.Demonstrated experience with CRM tools to manage customer relationships and streamline business processes.Generate and analyse reports to provide insights and support decision-making.A clean driver’s license and own car is mandatory. Extra Benefits:Depending on experience.35 Hour week (core hours 9-5) –Full-time employees can enjoy a 35-hour working week.Annual Salary ReviewsPension Scheme -after 12 months serviceTime Off in LieuMileage Policy in place for applicable rolesDeath in Service - after 6 months’ probation successfully completed.Travel Saver SchemesAnnual Leave -All full-time employees have 24 days annual leave which increases to 25 after 2 years in service.Sick Pay Scheme -after 6 months’ probation successfully completed.Bike to Work SchemeHSF PartnershipPaid Maternity & Paternity Leave –Available to Employees after 18 Months of service.Horizontal Transfer OpportunitiesComprehensive Training & DevelopmentBespoke Induction ProgrammesProgression OpportunitiesFurther Education OpportunitiesEmployee Assistance Programme -ALONE provides a 24hour support programme for all our Employee’s.GP telephone AdviceVirtual DoctorPrivate Prescription Service6 structured Counselling/ Emotional Wellbeing ServiceLegal Helpline
