We deliver deep technical tax expertise, while our people provide the critical context to employers to help them make informed and compliant decisions. Our clients range from multinational organisations and public sector bodies to entrepreneurs and family businesses. We’re a dynamic team, made up of over 30 curious minds. We are a technology enabled team and we are focused on leveraging technology solutions in a number of new and innovative ways to deliver effective and impactful Workforce tax services to our clients.What does this role offer? As a Workforce Employment Tax Manager you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will work on a varied portfolio of projects, including, for example, supporting our clients on mergers and acquisitions, working with clients’ HR and tax departments to deliver workforce restructuring projects and identifying and managing tax costs and tax risk, including Revenue interactions. In addition to working across a range of clients and industries, you’ll also have the opportunity to develop areas of specialisation by getting involved in one or more of our subject matter expert teams, including Equity, Gender Pay Gap or Payroll Consulting.About you – Key skills and competencies:At least 5 years experience working in Tax Consulting.AITI/CTA Qualified (or qualified by experience) with a strong academic record.Expert at directing and driving the success of multiple engagements.Business Acumen - use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends in the market and utilise this information to assist your clients in making innovative business decisions.Relationship management - ability to read situations and modify behaviour to build quality, diverse relationships.Creative - demonstrate an ability to contribute to new ideas and propose innovative solutions to problems.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Enthusiastic team player and manager with a passion to coach and encourage others to achieve their potential.Ambitious – demonstrate strong commitment to personal learning and development.Unlock your potential with PwC Ireland:We believe that challenges are better solved together.
