Play a critical role at one of the world's most iconic financial institutions where security is vital.As a Security Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity & Technology Controls group, you serve as a seasoned member of a team that works to deliver software solutions that satisfy pre-defined functional and user requirements with the added dimension of preventing misuse, circumvention, and malicious behavior. Carry out critical technology solutions with tamper-proof, audit defensible methods across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.Job ResponsibilitiesExecutes security solutions design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to apply knowledge of existing security solutions to satisfy security requirements for internal clients (e.g., product, platform, application owners).Engage and improve the whole lifecycle of services - from inception and design through deployment, operation and refinement.Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.Perform design and code reviews.Develop and build solutions relating to Cloud Environment Governance and Protection, Auditing, Monitoring, Remediation and Reporting.Design, develop and improve services to scale as the firm's cloud usage grows.Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and proficient advanced experience.Proficiency and hands-on experience in AWS services, including EKS, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, etc.Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.Practical exposure with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions such as Terraform and CloudFormation.Experience in developing enterprise software and proficiency in multiple technologies, preferably Python.Experience with development methodologies, e.g., Agile.Work independently and collaborate within a team to develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsSavvy Cybersecurity knowledge.Experience with Azure, GCP or other Public Cloud environments is a plus.Cloud Certifications including AWS Developer Associate, AWS Solutions Architect Associate.About UsJ.P.
