Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team. This candidate will play a vital role in sourcing materials and equipment, managing supplier relationships, and supporting the Procurement manager is all aspects of the Department. This role is office based in Dublin. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors. Evaluate vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers. Track invoices from receipt through payment and maintain detailed records for audits. Track and monitor material and services from purchase through delivery and site team acceptance. Execute strategic sourcing and vendor selection. Implement Request for quotes (RFQ) process. Manage relationships with suppliers. Evaluate performance and areas of opportunity. Perform routine follow up and effective resolution tactics to settle fulfilment issues and invoice variances. Assist with inventory management as it relates to procurement activities. Collaborate with teams to establish group/bulk purchasing opportunities. Identify opportunities for implementation of cost savings and process improvements. Proactively manage the status of items as they move through the procurement lifecycle and communicate them to internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner. Interact with sub-contractors, main contractors, and consultants. Lead negotiations with vendors/suppliers. Manage the supply chain risk and improve sustainability across the function. Role Requirement: 2-3 years' experience in procurement (M+E or construction experience strongly preferred) Bachelor's degree (in related field preferred) Knowledge and application of the principles of supply chain Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication Attention to detail.
