Senior Test Manager

itContracting are seeking applicants for a Senior Test Manager to join the team of their Dublin based client. Location: Dublin 2 – Hybrid Job Type: Contract – 24 Months Role Responsibilities: Provision of QA/Test solutions across a selection of projects and platformsProvision of QA/Test solutions to platform upgradesAdvising the Department on the development and implementation of an emerging Test Strategy.Responsible for the delivery of the test process within the department and the management and resolution of defects identified during the test process.Responsible for the ongoing management of quality assurance processes to reduce development defects and maintain quality standards.Advises on the application of appropriate quality and/or environmental management techniques, specifying requirements for environment, data, resources and tools.Provides reports on progress, anomalies, risks, and issues associated with the Department’s overall Test effort.Maintaining a defect register to report on system quality using test metrics collected.Providing reports on progress, anomalies, risks, and issues associated with individual projects and across multiple projects.Management of quality assurance processes to reduce development defects and maintain quality standards.Ensuring the application of appropriate quality management techniques and project plansManaging test team resources to ensure a consistent approach.Scheduling test activity within and across projects, managing resources as necessary. Requirements: Equivalent of 7+ years relevant experienceExperience managing Test teams and projects for a minimum of 3 of the past 5 yearsHold a degree or equivalent in a software related discipline.Fluent in the English language or A certificate under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages at level C2 Mastery or Proficiency, or equivalent.
