Job Title : Assistant Professor in Modern South Asian HistoryPay Scale : Lecturer Closing Date : 13-May-2024 12:00Contact Email : The School of Histories and Humanities at Trinity College Dublin seeks to appoint a talented individual to a tenure-track Assistant Professorship in modern South Asian history. This post will be based in the Department of History, and we would especially welcome applications from candidates with research interests and teaching experience in any aspect of the history of South Asia from the mid-nineteenth century to the present day. The primary purpose of this post will be to engage in teaching and research in the history of modern South Asia within the Department of History, to contribute to the School of Histories and Humanities’ successful M.Phil programmes in Modern History, and to supervise postgraduate research in their area of expertise. The successful applicant will have a PhD in History or a related field and must demonstrate a proven ability or evidence of potential to establish a strong record of research and publication in any field of modern South Asian history Post Title: Assistant Professor in Modern South Asian HistoryPost status: 5 Year Fixed Term, Tenure Track ContractHours of Post: Hours of work for academic staff are those as prescribed under Public Service Agreements.
