Your tasks This role offers a 1-year fixed term contract for maternity leave cover. We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Team Lead who thrives in fast-paced environments. Responsibilities include managing and leading a customer-focused team, handling Transport Management, Ticket Management, and KPI/Customs Reporting.Hours: 0800 - 1630Location: Ballycoolin, DublinWhat will you be doing? As the direct report to the Operations Manager, you will serve as a pivotal link between upper management and frontline operations. This involves facilitating communication channels and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer expectations.You will collaborate with stakeholders spanning different hierarchies and departments, fostering effective communication and coordination to ensure seamless customer service delivery. A core aspect of your role will involve overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Customer Service department. This includes managing incoming inquiries, resolving customer issues, and ensuring timely and satisfactory responses to customer queries.Additionally, you will be tasked with the vital responsibility of managing a team of 8 individuals within the Customer Service department. This encompasses providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, facilitating their professional development, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees within the Customer Service department. This involves implementing and adhering to health and safety protocols, conducting regular safety inspections, and addressing any safety concerns or incidents promptly and effectively. By prioritizing health and safety measures, you will contribute to the overall well-being and productivity of the team. Requirements About You Demonstrated proficiency in leading and managing teams, including guiding, motivating, and developing team members to achieve goals and deliver exceptional results. Understanding and expertise in the products, services, and processes relevant to the industry. Strong leadership qualities encompassing effective communication, decision-making, and strategic thinking. Possession of the necessary legal authorization and documentation to work in Ireland is a fundamental requirement for this role. Extensive experience in customer service roles, including managing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering high-quality service. What We OfferExcellent salary.
