Email Security Specialist 95104 Desired skills: Email Security, Cyber Security, EDR, DLP, CISSP My client in Dublin City Centre is looking for a contract Email Security Specialist for an upcoming project - this role will involve 6-9 months of work initially with the scope for additional work afterwards in other areas of the Security programmeRole:Monitor and analyze email traffic for security threats, including phishing attacks, malware, and spam.Implement and maintain email security controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards.Respond promptly to email security incidents, conducting investigations, and implementing remediation measures as necessary.Collaborate with internal teams to develop and enforce email security policies and procedures.Stay on top of emerging email security threats and technologies, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.Conduct regular security assessments and audits of email systems to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.Serve as a subject matter expert on email security matters, providing guidance and training to staff as needed.Requirements:Proven experience in email security, including hands-on experience with email security technologies such as email gateways, spam filters, and email encryption solutions.Strong understanding of email protocols (SMTP, POP3, IMAP) and email authentication mechanisms (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).Familiarity with email security standards and regulations (., HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001).Experience with security incident response procedures and tools.Able to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GIAC are a plus.Reperio Human Capital acts as an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
