Cyber Security Analyst

Cyber Security Analyst Contract | €400/day | Dublin | Hybrid We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our client's team in Dublin. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in protecting the organization's information systems from cyber threats. This role involves monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents, as well as implementing security measures and best practices. Responsibilities: Monitor and analyze network traffic and system logs to identify and respond to security incidents. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks. Implement and manage security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection. Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation. Provide security awareness training to employees and assist in the development of security best practices. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in a cyber security role. Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS. Experience with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions. Proficiency in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders.
