Food & Beverage Assistant (Morning shifts, Monday to Friday)

The Hodson Bay Hotel are excited to welcome applications for a  Food and Beverage Assistant  to join our friendly Food and Beverage team in our Restaurant. The successful candidate will be assisting the smooth running of Breakfast/Lunch service in our Restaurant. We are interested in candidates who have availability to work morning shifts between Monday and Friday.  The typical starting times for this role is between 6am to 8am and finishing time between 12pm and 3:30pm, depending on the candidates availability and business needs. Main Duties: To carry out all Food & Beverage assistant duties as per the agreed standards. To assist and carry out duties for the Restaurant, and assist in the Bar, Brasserie and Banqueting when necessary To participate in training as required by Breakfast Supervisor or Breakfast Manager. To be responsible for the service of the Restaurant where directed. To ensure the highest levels of Customer Care are practised at all times. To carry out the Hotel's customer relations policy. To communicate Hotel services to guests. To ensure cash/vouchers and all forms of payment are handled in a secure and responsible manner in the Restaurant. To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming. To wear relevant uniform and name badge at all times. To ensure that reasonable care is taken for the Health & Safety of yourself, other employees, guests and any other persons on the Hotel premises. Any other duties as directed by management. A little bit about you: 1 year Food & Beverage/ Customer Service experience is desired Available to work mid-week morning shifts Excellent customer service skills Ability to take initiative and anticipate customer needs Enjoy working in a fast paced environment Why work with us?
