MES Software EngineerOverview:Our client is a global healthcare leader that helps people live more fully at all stages of life. Their portfolio of life-changing technologies spans the spectrum of healthcare, with leading businesses and products in diagnostics, medical devices, nutritionals and branded generic medicines. They are looking for several MES Engineers to join their team. This role is based in their Donegal site. * Strong base salary and benefits package with this role The main responsibility of the MES Engineer is to develop, maintain and improve the various recipes and worksheets used in the manufacture of the main product manufactured on site, ensuring the site delivers safe and effective products using our MES System that meet customer needs whilst maintaining compliance. Major Responsibilities Provide support on all MES applications onsite (POMSNet) Participate in workshops with stakeholders (Business, Quality, Compliance, product SME) and get aligned with the process flow with respect to the recipe designs. Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, IT and Quality leaders to ensure efficient and effective MES site support. Ensuring conformance with all relevant Policies and Procedures. Contributing to the creation of Work Instructions and Procedures to maintain compliance. Coordinate and implement process and equipment projects as relevant to MES Validation of new processes and development of technical documentation for areas of responsibility. Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and performing other duties as assigned by management. Build, Test and verify recipes which require Integration (SAP, Database, PLC etc.) Design, author, develop and configure Electronic Batch Records (EBR) Implement MES solutions and integrate with ERP and control equipment Document MES configuration and validation of EBRs Education Bachelor’s degree in Computing or IT related disciplines preferred or equivalent in manufacturing, Quality or engineering discipline. Experience with POMS system is advantageous Strong C# coding and SQL Database knowledge required.
