Basic Grade Dietitian

Promote and maintain throughout the hospital an awareness of sound nutrition and an appreciation of the importance of nutrition. Support the Dietitian Manager through the implementation and maintenance of best nutrition and dietetic practice Contribute to the development, implementation, and updating of nutrition policies, procedures, and systems that support the needs of the hospital. Maintain records of treatment care in the patient’s case notes in line with departmental and hospital policies. Provide group education sessions to patients as appropriate. Requirements A qualification in Dietetics approved by the dietitians registration board at CORU. CORU application submitted/ registration Possess a human nutrition and dietetics B.Sc. degree, a nutrition and dietetics diploma, or a dietetics qualification at least equal to the aforementioned Must have post-qualification clinical experience as a Dietician. Excellent report and presentation writing skills with an ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
