European Merchant Technology is responsible for European POS & Terminal platforms; Gateway solutions; Boarding & Servicing; Acquiring and Issuing platforms across Europe. The UK&I Business Partner is a key role in our European Merchant Technology organisation with project and programme delivery responsibility for the UK&I Merchant Acquiring Business Unit. This role will define the IT engagement model for UK&I Merchant Acquiring, ensuring key demand is being delivered by BTS (IT) shared platforms or International owned Platform teams and relevant changes are driven downstream. This role will work closely with Business Stakeholders and Product partners to manage the Regional demand and supply model, and align technology delivery to the highest value business strategic outcomes. They will oversee the technology delivery roadmap associated with the UK&I Merchant Acquiring Business Unit, bringing visibility to region success measures and achievement against those. Essential Responsibilities Cross Platform Delivery:Build an effective delivery model collaborating with our partners in Product, BTS (IT) & Engineering for the UK&I Region. Ensure key demand is being delivered by Cross Platform teams and relevant changes are driven downstreamDrive planning & prioritisation, create quarterly roadmap, track value & success. Manage Regional Cross Platform roadmap demand, create committed plans, track top levelConduct high quality project management on key strategic initiatives Create and manage appropriate steering and governance to executive level. Drive quality executive reporting which provides top level highlights, successes, and tracks achievement of OKRSResolve top level risks and issuesWork with the full business, particularly Product and BTS (IT) on how to continually improve and accelerate the delivery process, jointly coming up with solutions and taking ownership for those areas that are in your controlEnsure Delivery team practices and processes are occurring as expected and enhanced with agreed action plans on an ongoing basisLead a team of high skilled change professionals and coach other team members to ensure these teams are engaged and delivering on our business goalsRun high performing delivery teams, continue to evolve delivery practices and drive a culture of continuous improvementPartner with European Merchant Technology Management team to fulfil a programme for People & Culture strategy across European TechnologyKey Success Factors: Positive trending Delivery metrics and Business Satisfaction ratings. Delivery of Strategic key results for the European Merchant Acquiring organisation. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree10+ years of experience in project and program managementPersonal: Self-motivator who will hit the ground running. Hold self to high standard.Industry Expertise: Functional experience and expertise in technology programme change management. Project management qualification is a must. Planning & Delivery: Unparalleled record of delivery and execution against strategy. Proven experience in a high volume programme management role. Master of multi-tasking – capable of managing and switching between multiple areas and activities without losing speed. Manages change and uncertainty effectively.Comms & Rel Mgmt: Excellent comms and relationship building skills across all teams and locations in an organisation.Leadership: Drives individuals and teams across business units to deliver programmes and projects. Focuses others on execution.Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial awareness. Identifies and effectively analyses commercial and growth opportunities.
