Health & Safety Advisor - GAS

Job Title: Health & Safety Advisor(GAS) with a Leading Civil and Engineering Company Job Summary: A Health & Safety Advisor is required for a leading civil and engineering company in Ireland, specializing in Gas projects. The role is based in Dublin but involves travel to various sites across Leinster. The advisor will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promote a safety culture, and implement safety measures across all gas projects. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures specific to gas projects. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards. Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Investigate accidents and incidents, and provide detailed reports with recommendations. Deliver health and safety training to employees and subcontractors. Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and external stakeholders on safety matters. Maintain up-to-date records of health and safety activities and incidents. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to gas safety. Requirements: Relevant qualification in Health & Safety Proven experience in a similar role within the gas sector. In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations specific to gas projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
