Your new role The primary focus for this role is to generate maximum asset up-time via planned and preventative maintenance completed over a 3-day weekend shift, Friday to Sunday. Your main day to day duties will consist of : Maintain, repair, and install mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment on various asset types across the siteApply excellent problem-solving skills to swiftly fault-find and rectify problemsWork independently with OEMs and external contractors on maintenance, repairs, and installationsPromote and lead a proactive and positive safety culture, always adhering to safe working practiceUse CMMS to generate and record all planned, reactive and project workLiaise with OEMs and other vendors when diagnosing faults, ordering, or sourcing replacement partsProvide support and participate in all continuous improvement projects and trialsEnsure all work is completed safely and in accordance with quality requirements, company policy and all statutory requirementsEffective and timely communication with Engineering, Production and Quality personnel. What you'll need to succeed Maintenance Fitter Craft Certificate or equivalent is essential3+ years practical hands-on experience in a relevant industrial settingStrong technical capability with the ability to read, understand and work from technical drawingsStrong fault finding / problem solving skills essentialProven ability to work well as part of a team & on own with minimum supervisionPositive attitude to changing circumstances and work prioritiesSelf-motivated with the ability to work on own initiativeExcellent interpersonal and professional conduct What you'll get in return Excellent company pension schemeSubsidised canteen (weekdays)Free weekly GP services on-siteOn-site parkingCompany events / societies Salary: €54,500 per annumAdditional pay: overtime optionsSchedule: 12-hour shift, 07:30am – 7:30pm, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
